#PakVsNZ 2020 Day 3 Stumps at Mount Maungunai

0

3rd Day of the Pak vs Nz's 1st test match is stumped after the Pakistan team got all out on 239.

Outstanding effort from Faheem Ashraf

Pakistan lost his 4 key wickets early in the morning then Muhammad Rizwan and Fawad Alam showed some resistance, after which fawad alam gifted his wicket to Kiwi bowlers. Pakistan was struggling at 80/6 then Faheem Ashraf came and played a crucial and his career-best knock of 91 runs under pressure, which include 14 fours and 1 six Although he deserves the century but got out by getting a thick edge he gave Pakistan something to cheer Along with Faheem Ashraf Muhammad Rizwan also made a great contribution in avoiding follow on, but he was a little bit unlucky as well, He Scored 71 runs and got run out on a direct hit from Mitchell Santner.

Appreciation for Faheem and Rizwan, they both played well and saved team Pakistan from follow-on, Rizwan really played a real captain's knock here.

And in my opinion, Pakistani top and middle-order batsmen should learn from Faheem Ashraf and Muhammad Rizwan how to play on these kinds of grassy pitches.

In short, it wasn't a good day as well for Pakistan but Rizwan and Faheem did a great job although newzealand has a huge lead over Pakistan, the game is still on so let's hope that we would have some wonderful competition to watch in the remaining two days of the match.
